111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Non-urgent advice: Extended Access

We provide emergency cover at night after 18:30 until 08:00 the following morning and all day Saturday and Sunday – PLEASE RING  the GP out-of-hours service number direct on 111.

NHS Walk-in Centre – for treatment of minor injuries. You can phone The Haywood Walk-in Centre for advice on 01782 673500 or call in without an appointment.

Hanley Primary Care Access Hub – Walk-in-Centre for health advice and treatment of illnesses and minor illnesses.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
